SLITASJETEKNIKK AS, PRODUCTS AND CAPASITIES

Our main product is the wear resistant material Terochrome which we produce here

in Mo i Rana. Based on this material we have a wide range of products developed

during more than 20 years.

Product examples are:

# Wear-plates for chutes and hoppers

# Wear resistant tubes and tube bends

# Charging tubes for Ferro alloy furnaces

# Liners for vibrating feeders

# Screed-plates for asphalt pavers

# Mixer paddles and liners

# Fan impellers

# Sliding gas-seal for pellet plants

# Water cooled fine grinding mill housing

# Wear resistant cyclones

We also have the following machinery:

# CNC- controlled welding machine, work area apprx. 10 000 x 4500 mm.

Deposition capacity up to 50 kg/hour.

# Heavy duty pyramid rollers, especially suitable to roll tubes down to 400

mm dia. from thick or hardened plate like for example Hardox.

Thick material tube-bends are readily made.

# Water Jet cutting machine, table size 4200 x 2580 mm, Power 75 kw,

2 cutting nozzles. This is a high capacity machine able to cut almost all

materials. The machine has a high specified Fanuc CNC control and is also

equipped with a built in PC for easy communication and program storage.

# Heavy duty grinding machines.

# Hydraulic press, up to 150 Tons, able to press tubes and cones.

# 2 Off Stud welding machines, capacity up to 25 mm.

# General workshop equipment like welding machines, drilling machine etc.

The staff and production equipment is suitable for production of details made

from quenched steels and stainless and acid resistant steels.

The water jet cutting process eliminates in most cases the need for drilling as all

holes are readily cut to close tolerance. Also grinding of edges after cutting is

eliminated.

The workshop is supervised and supplied with production drawings, specifications

and welding and cutting programs by 2 mechanical engineers and 1 metallurgist.

Steel-plates in thickness from 5 mm to 10 mm is always in stock in some quantity.

We also stock small quantity stainless plate.
